With an impressive height of 3,600 ft above the sea level, the fortress served residence to the king for years. Since the king was an art and architecture lover, a three-day festival is observed every year in his memory. It is situated in the Aravalli range.

Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi:


A whopping amount was spent to build this iconic structure in Delhi. Spreading over a vast area of 12,000 square meters, the tomb is the first garden tomb in the country. To make sure the tomb was fearlessly designed, Bana Begum, wife of Humayun selected a Persian architecture for this creative job. It is situated in Nizamuddin East.
